A city thought for favouring people who walk over people that use their cars when moving around is definitely one that takes into account sidewalks, coverage from the sun and other elements and street crossings. My city provides a lot of this, but there's still some room for improvement.

REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportationWhat have you noticed on your daily walks? What have you enjoyed? What infrastructure changes could make your walks more enjoyable or possible?
Magda B 6/08/2022 8:59 AMThe city I live in (Buenos Aires) is actually very walkable, but there are some problems with the sidewalks, where sometimes they are too slim and in some places, the tiles are broken and accumulate water from the rains. There are also some intersections that lack adequate zebra crossings, and some parts of the city don't have good tree coverage (for there are no trees on the sidewalks or they are too small to give shadow).

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land UseWhy do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our bodies, our planet, and other people?
Magda B 6/08/2022 8:42 AMI really think in the end if you don't have meatless/vegan easy options to cook and the whole system is guiding you to eat meat, animal-based or dairy products, it's difficult to stray from the line. I honestly think sometimes it's about status, sometimes about easiness and sometimes about not having enough knowledge. -
Magda B 6/08/2022 8:38 AMIt's really difficult to keep up with recycling when my country doesn't have legislation for packaging. -
