World Clean Up Day - Sept 18
World Cleanup Day 2021 - are you ready to join in? It's so simple (just 3 steps) and together we can make a huge impact on our environment...here's how 1) Rally some friends, family, colleagues living nearby and help together as a team in person or virtually to cleanup our communities, local streets, rivers, lakes & parks (rubbish is to be found everywhere!). Why not even engage with the local schools & Kindergarten and get the children involved too. 2) Choose the day you wish to run your team activity (our suggestion is Friday 17th Sep) and create your own shift under this activity to log your VTO hrs! 3) Share photos of you & your teams in action, in one or both of the Earthforce Slack channels (add #worldcleanupday2021): #eq-earthforce-germany #eq-earthforce-global Remember to always adhere to local Covid safety regulations!

Eric Berridge 9/21/2021 11:16 AMChallenge is going great! No unnecessary plastic consumption. Stay away from the plastic thrown at you everyday. Don't just grab that stupid dunkin donuts cup. Don't accept drinks in plastic cups. Drink filtered water at home. Refuse plastic bags. Sustainability is our individual responsibilities.-
Laura Winnie 4/21/2023 2:55 AMI love this challenge. I can protect the earth now. Sometimes, I wonder if should I just play tiny fishing at home to produce the smoke from vehicles. -

Lucinda Young 9/23/2021 1:24 AMYes, it can & should be done! I'm finding most coffee shops are allowing you to bring your own reusable cups again, stores to bring your own bags again, & bulk sections are open again & you can use your reusable bulk product bags. And telling restaurants you do not want the plastic disposables does work (sometimes you have to say it twice because they unconsciously push the plastic disposables)
