Land Sinks Learn More about Silvopasture
Had you heard of the term "silvopasture" before now? After learning more about it, what do you think is the biggest advantage of silvopasture?

    Isabel Bishop 12/09/2020 10:27 AM
I haven’t heard the term silvopasture before. Now knowing about it I believe the biggest advantage is the additional income for farmers during seasons that they may not make as much money.

Industry Research the Climate Impact of Refrigerants
What did you learn about the climate impact of refrigerants? How do supermarkets contribute to this impact?

    Isabel Bishop's avatar
    Isabel Bishop 12/09/2020 8:12 AM
Supermarkets contribute to ozone deletion because they have multiple large refriderators running at all times, so the amount of CFCsthat they produce compaired to the normal person is large.

    Isabel Bishop 12/02/2020 10:00 AM
It makes me realise how little time we actually have to get this under control until there is permanent damage. The fact that people still don’t believe in climate change, when half the time they are able to vote but will be dead in the next election and I have to deal with their actions. Our president elect.

  • REFLECTION QUESTION

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Electricity Learn More about Micro Wind
Micro turbines can be placed on large structures to take advantage of stronger, steadier breezes. The Eiffel Tower now sports vertical axis turbines that produce electricity for use on site. Where could micro turbines potentially be installed in your city?

    Isabel Bishop 11/19/2020 6:55 AM
They could potentially be put on the bb&t building or the mall because both of those areas get a lot of wind and they have an area where they could be placed.
