    While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come from eating/serving smaller portions?

    healthier eating habits with the right balance of vegetables/fruits, proteins and carbs.  save time by preparing once and eating twice (or more!)

    where sources of food, water and renewable energy come from within a 100 mile radius.  the members of the community would need to work together to help each other, bringing their skills to use for the community rather than themselves.
