REFLECTION QUESTIONLand Sinks Learn More about SilvopastureHad you heard of the term "silvopasture" before now? After learning more about it, what do you think is the biggest advantage of silvopasture?
Kasey Boyd 12/08/2020 8:23 AMI had not. I think the biggest advantage is the fact that it is better for the environment, not causing as much deforestation and sequestering carbon. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONElectricity Watch a Video about Methane DigestersWhat does your vision of a sustainable community look like? What would need to be changed in order for such vision to become reality?
Kasey Boyd 12/04/2020 7:53 AMPeople in a sustainable community would all be vegan, use sustainable power such as solar power, and have LED light bulbs, low flow showerheads and sinks, and electric cars. -

REFLECTION QUESTIONLand Sinks Forest-Friendly Foods 1How is your diet currently impacting deforestation? What can you do to decrease your negative impact and increase your positive impact?
Kasey Boyd 11/24/2020 7:29 AMMy diet is really only contributing to deforestation through the chocolate I eat, since I don’t eat foods with palm oil, coffee, or animal products. However, I primarily eat Endangered Species chocolate, which is Rainforest Alliance Certified. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land Use Learn the Truth About Expiration DatesHow does knowing the difference between use by, sell by, and best by dates empower you to make better decisions?
