REFLECTION QUESTIONWomen and Girls Host a Film ScreeningThank you for raising awareness of women's and gender equality issues. What is the next step to actually address this disparity?

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Keep Track of Wasted FoodAn average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Where would you rather use this money?
Anna Colombo 6/10/2020 1:45 PMIdeally I would spend this money to fund soup kitchens or organisations that provide food to people in need.
It would be also good if this money could fund school projects that can help children understand what they can do in their families to prevent food from being thrown out.-
A Mangai 6/12/2020 9:49 AMGreat idea, Anna!

REFLECTION QUESTIONLand Use Forest-Friendly Foods 1How is your diet currently impacting deforestation? What can you do to decrease your negative impact and increase your positive impact?
Anna Colombo 6/08/2020 2:44 PMI eat a lot of cocoa based food🙁 while in my country there is a huge campaign against the use of palm oil, little is known about the impact that cocoa cultivation has on deforestation. Next time I go shopping, I will buy some chocolate produced by the Fair Trade Alliance and feel less guilty when eating it. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Learn the Truth About Expiration DatesHow does knowing the difference between use by, sell by, and best by dates empower you to make better decisions?
Anna Colombo 6/08/2020 2:38 PMThere is a lot of confusion around these dates, so knowing the difference can really help consumers throw away food that is still edible. -
Anna Colombo 6/05/2020 1:05 PMSo much food for thought and a pressure to take action. I knew Femme International already and I think they are really making an impact on the lives of Tanzanian girls.
