Joy to the World Meditation
Meditate with physical contact with the earth (grounding*) Meditation Guide: 1. Set the intention to spread joy, positivity and coherence 2, In the mind's eye, picture roots growing from underneath you, binding you to the Earth. 3. Draw up from this connection - as you inhale, imagining energy and vitality flowing up thorugh your roots into your body and feel the vibrancy for a moment as hold the breath. 4. As exhale, imagine this cloud of positivity inside you starts to balloon outside of self, into the surrounding areas. Like you are inflating the balloon with your breath. Start by picturing it rise an inch above your skin, like an aura. Then into the space your in, like a visible purfume cloud. then imagine its growing, taking over block you're on, then your town, the state, so on until the world is blaketed with your positivity. - Helpful to imagine a haboob as reference 6. Rest in this feeling for 10-15 minutes. 7. Thank the Earth for what it has created for you. 8. Slowly return to settings and open eyes. Smile and take a stretch. *https://www.healthline.com/health/grounding#benefits This is a familiar mediation to, generally results in feeling brimming with love and sunshine, I've even received comment on how I seem vibrant, present or in tune. Making it a daily habit would help me maintain positivity in the spaces I enhabit and enhancing daily interactions.

REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Healing & Renewal Go for a Daily WalkWhat have you noticed on your daily walks? What have you enjoyed? What infrastructure changes could make your walks more enjoyable or possible?
audra davis 5/03/2021 2:03 PMBy going on daily walks, I've become more aware of my surroundings. Hearing the bird songs and getting to know my non-human neighbors has been lovely. One of my favorite things is walking through an area with lots of big trees. I wish there were no cars! The roads kill land and habitats, they are so loud and terrible for the environment.-
Emma Orabelle 4/11/2023 12:03 AMIn urban areas, people may also encounter issues like noise pollution, air pollution and limited green spaces. exhibit of sorrows -

REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Healing & Renewal Eat MindfullyMindful eating is healthier for us than eating with distractions. How does your eating experience differ when practicing mindfulness?
audra davis 4/19/2021 10:53 AMIt's a more enjoyable experience. I don't consume as much junk food when being mindful, I'm aware that I shouldn't be eating junk and it loses it's appeal quickly.-
Thomas Frank 9/23/2022 7:07 PMChoosing food consciously involves experiencing and appreciating it with all of your physical and emotional senses. quordle, This fosters a greater appreciation for food, which enhances the overall eating experience. weaver game
