Matthew Dempsey 12/04/2020 8:44 AMMy vision of a sustainable community is a community that likes to focus on sustaining the environment and things like that to make the place better. To change that vision to reality everyone needs to work on whatever helps the environment in a way. -

REFLECTION QUESTIONLand Sinks Learn about Temperate ForestsAs you learn more about the scope and seriousness of the environmental challenges we face, what impact does that have on your thinking and actions? What are the parts that feel overwhelming? What parts help you feel hopeful?
Matthew Dempsey 12/02/2020 8:57 AMI think this taught me how important forests are and how they help the environment. The overwhelming thing is that things are getting worse and we need to work harder on helping that not be true. We want to help things get better. That forest helps and there are so many of them. But the deforestation needs to slow down big time to keep helping. -
