Sarah Duffer 12/13/2021 7:54 AMA sustainable community, in my opinion, is one where all people have access to safe, healthy, affordable food and energy. People have access to quality, reliable public transportation and health care. People have access to free education and job training. -

Sarah Duffer 11/30/2020 3:43 PMI will continue to choose share grown coffee and chocolate and reduce the amount of packaged junk food I eat (it has palm oil in it). I will select paper that has a post-consumer content (it’s been recycled). -

Sarah Duffer 11/30/2020 5:18 AMSome of the barriers that exist to women’s equal participation and representation in my community are the fact that Asheville has a service-based economy. Low skilled, low wage labor is found in restaurants, hotel industry, and the hospital. -
