    Transportation
What was your process like for restructuring your trip? How can you avoid more air travel in the future?

Recently I had to travel to Rockingham, North Carolina for a race that my boyfriend was attending. We were going with a large group of people and although flying would have probably been cheaper we all carpooled. We could have flown but we chose to drive, driving reduces emissions per person and is more environmentally friendly. In the future to avoid more air travel we could consider carpooling again.

    Food, Agriculture, and Land Use
In North America, up to 65% of food waste happens at the consumer level. Chef Steven Satterfield advocates for utilizing every part of a vegetable. How can you incorporate using an entire vegetable, including the skins, tops, and stalks during your next meal prep?

I love broccoli and eat it quite often. Broccoli is one of the vegetables I don't mind eating whole. For my next meal prep I will sauté the whole broccoli (stems included) in olive oil and garlic. This would incorporate the whole vegetable and cause zero waste cooking.

I had a significant experience in nature that altered my perspective when I had a stressful day and went on an adventure by myself. On this adventure I went down a trail in my neighborhood that I haven't before. At the end of the trail I discovered an active quarry also known as traprock. This altered my experience because I live in a very populated neighborhood, who would have known that just 1 mile through the woods there would be this huge quarry. It was just a really cool experience.

What have you noticed on your daily walks? What have you enjoyed? What infrastructure changes could make your walks more enjoyable or possible?

On my daily walks I have noticed that the weather is getting warmer and my mood is improving. I have enjoyed that my bestfriend has joined me for these daily walks and we are able to talk about our day. On infrastructure change that could improve my walks is a sidewalk. Where I walk is in my neighborhood and there s\is no sidewalks. A sidewalk would improve my safety.
