Since today is the last day I will add a small reflection. After learning more about sustainable seafood I have started purchasing local sustainable seafood and want to take up fishing. After eating without my phone or computer I end up being more productive, doing homework or getting small things done as I eat. By biking more often I feel like I can bike anywhere locally and usually plan my day around biking instead of driving. By walking I spend a lot more time outside and having a clear mind. And I feel less tired throughout my day when I eat more fruits. I will continue to bike, walk and eat some fruit daily and I know a lot more about sustainable fishing methods now and where to look for sustainably caught fish. Hopefully I ca eventually catch my own food.

In other countries transit is super useful and cheap. It's easy to take the subway in lots of other countries for cheaper and much more efficient travel. Public transportation also goes hand in hand with walking because you don't always have your car to take you anywhere.

I used to be vegan, but learning about how sustainable certain practices can be I have changed that. I support small local farmers and especially fishermen. I only purchase fish if I know where it comes from, there are great local restaurants.

When I go for a walk I try to discover new trails. Going for walks helps me find new biking trails and other cool hidden spots I wouldn't find otherwise. I prefer walking outside in the cold

I feel like biking around locally gives you more patience on the road. Of course it's also healthier and active so I feel more energized before I come into class.

I don't get as tired when I eat more fruits throughout the day, and eating more vegetables means eating less processed foods.

I can enjoy the food more as well as spend time thinking about other things if I'm alone. If I'm with people then we spend more time talking.
