    Riley Goff's avatar
    Riley Goff 5/27/2020 1:26 PM
Before now I had never heard of Silvopasture, but I'm glad I learned about it. Silvopasture has a lot of benefits but one of the biggest ones is helping Wildlife by creating a more diverse system and safe wildlife habitats are created.

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Materials Practice the 5 R's
What are some more "R's" you could add to your daily practice to reduce your waste?

    Riley Goff's avatar
    Riley Goff 5/27/2020 12:51 PM
I could recycle, reuse and re purpose every day.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Support Organic Growing Methods
It is often said that “you can’t feed the world with just organic food.” What is your response to that statement?

    Riley Goff's avatar
    Riley Goff 5/27/2020 12:47 PM
I think it is a very interesting statement and I bet it is controversial.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Food Keep Track of Wasted Food
An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Where would you rather use this money?

    Riley Goff's avatar
    Riley Goff 5/27/2020 12:43 PM
I would use the money to somehow help the planet.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Materials Recycle Everything I Can
How could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle? How does considering implementing these "R's" make you feel?

    Riley Goff's avatar
    Riley Goff 5/27/2020 11:54 AM
I already recycle I might just have to try harder, and I am excited!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Electricity Generation Watch a Video about Methane Digesters
What does your vision of a sustainable community look like? What would need to be changed in order for such vision to become reality?

    Riley Goff's avatar
    Riley Goff 5/27/2020 11:26 AM
It looks like everyone is doing what they can to help the planet. I would need everyone to be more careful about what they are doing and what they are using.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Women and Girls Learn about the Need for Family Planning
What did you learn about the need for family planning? How do the needs of different people in different places compare to each other?

    Riley Goff's avatar
    Riley Goff 5/22/2020 11:28 AM
I learned that family planning can save lives and create a healthier life. The needs of different people in different places compare to each other because not all people can afford or get the food and housing necessary.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

Much of Indonesia's peatlands have been drained so they could be replaced with palm oil or pulp and paper plantations. How can you make choices that help to protect peatlands, even if you live far away from one?

    Riley Goff's avatar
    Riley Goff 5/20/2020 11:36 AM
I could buy less paper or try to make my own and I could restrain from buying anything with palm oil.
