Erin Gorman 4/30/2021 11:24 AMAs we close out April, I am realizing that I am either forgetting to do some of the things that I have pledged to do daily or my current goals are getting a bit stale. I am going to update some of my daily goals for the next month to get motiviated! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land Use Reduce Animal ProductsWhy do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our bodies, our planet, and other people?
Erin Gorman 4/28/2021 7:02 AMI am finding that whenever I eat out, I almost always order a meal with meat. I believe this is a cultural thing (possibly "richer" countries) which is also driven by the number of meatless entree's on a menu. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Go for a Daily WalkWhat have you noticed on your daily walks? What have you enjoyed? What infrastructure changes could make your walks more enjoyable or possible?
Erin Gorman 4/22/2021 6:38 AMI have realized that I live to in one of the more walk-able neighborhoods in the US. There is infrastructure available to make walking an accessible and enjoyable activity. I am very grateful to live next to Hudson River Park where NYS and NYC have invested so much time and money to make the park beautiful, open to many different outdoor activities, and safe.
