Recycle Everything I Can
Recycling
Contamination prevents what is recyclable from being recycled. I will research and recycle all materials that are accepted by local haulers or drop stations in my community, making sure to not contaminate recyclables with non-recyclables.
Participant Feed
Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.
To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

REFLECTION QUESTIONCoastal, Ocean, and Engineered Sinks Smart Seafood ChoicesMany states and countries have advisories on eating fish. Find out what is advised for your region. Do you think your diet choices fall within these guidelines? What steps do you need to take to make sure that they do?
Louise Hart 3/25/2021 2:36 PMI eat a mostly vegetarian diet - when I do eat fish, I try to buy 'wild caught' varieties. If this is not available, I will opt out and stick with a veggie dish! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONIndustry Reduce Single-Use DisposablesWhat single-use items (e.g. straws, coffee cups, vegetable bags, plastic bags) do you regularly use? What could be substituted instead?
Louise Hart 3/09/2021 6:36 AMI've managed to substitute most single-use items at home, however it's difficult to control how grocery stores and restaurants package their food. It would be great to be able to take your own containers to stores to carry things like grains, nuts, fruit/veg etc -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Healing & Renewal Go for a Daily WalkWhat have you noticed on your daily walks? What have you enjoyed? What infrastructure changes could make your walks more enjoyable or possible?
Louise Hart 3/03/2021 8:31 AMI've introduced a daily walk into my WFH routine and it's really helped my mental health. It will be important I maintain this when office life resumes to 'normal'!
