    Why do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our bodies, our planet, and other people?

    Eating less meat often means eating less fat which is healthier for me. I have to make sure I'm still getting enough protein in my diet.

    Began planting our community garden which is organic. Will be a few weeks before we are able to harvest peas, lettuce and spinach.

      It seems to be so much harder to eat veggies and fruits in winter.  I have been trying to cook with more frozen produce.  I wish I had the time, talent, and space to can my own produce from local sources in summer!
