  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Transportation Research and Consider Switching to a Hybrid or Electric Vehicle

    Harrison Kaye's avatar
    Harrison Kaye 3/29/2021 9:47 AM
Maintenance costs are a major factor in choosing a vehicle, and there is no need for gas with green vehicles.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transportation Improve a Bus Stop
How can you advocate for transportation systems which minimize environmental impact while also meeting human needs?

    Harrison Kaye's avatar
    Harrison Kaye 3/29/2021 9:46 AM
Rather than just raising the issues with current transportation options, I can research and provide effective alternatives.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Transportation Research and Advocate for High-Speed Rail
What are the factors that influence your choice of transportation? These can include things like money, time, and convenience, as well as perceptions of danger or safety. What would need to change for you to regularly choose more climate-friendly options?

    Harrison Kaye's avatar
    Harrison Kaye 3/29/2021 9:45 AM
Money and convenience are the two biggest factors. I find trains to be a happy medium between cost and commute time.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Food, Agriculture, and Land Use Reduce Animal Products
Why do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our bodies, our planet, and other people?

    Harrison Kaye's avatar
    Harrison Kaye 3/29/2021 9:40 AM
In some ways I think eating meat shows a "luxurious" life, and also adds more variety into a person's diet. Too much, however, has negative effects on our body, especially red meat.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Electricity Invite a friend to calculate the carbon footprint of their household
What kinds of discussions did you have, or are you hoping to have with friends about climate change?

    Harrison Kaye's avatar
    Harrison Kaye 3/29/2021 9:39 AM
I think there are some easy ways to lessen our carbon footprint that people don't know about, so I want to raise awareness for those options.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Electricity Encourage my company and/or organization to measure and manage their carbon footprint
What else can you do to hold your organization accountable to implement sustainable practices?

    Harrison Kaye's avatar
