Ly Khuc 8/15/2022 1:49 AMIn our household, we try to buy seasonal, local veggies. Luckily, we often visit my boyfriend's grandma who recently gace us carrots, tomatoes, peaches, onions, etc. She told us that this year's crops were much less than in the last years due to the drought and weather conditions. We are concerned what the following years will be like, so we'll plan for a whole year in advance to be prepared -
Ly Khuc 8/01/2022 5:09 AMIn the morning I don't use my phone normally when I go to work as I have little time. At work I eat without using my phone but when I'm at home dining, I usually watch something or a serie episode whern we're having dinner with my boyfriends. I look forward to is because for dinner we are both finished with work and during dinner it's nice to watch the series. We only watch one episode normally. -
Ly Khuc 7/18/2022 1:18 AMMy boyfriends and I compost in our apartment. I also initiated composting at the pastry shop I work as a pastry chef. My plan is to improve the composting system, because I think that currently there is too much food waste and less brown waste (life leaves, etc.) in the composting area. Additionally, I think the compost needs to be turned and maintained in a better way. Therefore, I will spend today time to learn about composting and best practices at restaurants and pastry shops.
I would like to ask if it'll be possible to have a common composting area in the building I live, but I am afraid that this will be a more difficult goal to achieve. If you have any suggestions on how I can approach the commitee of the building and what I should include in my letter. Thank you in advance. -
