REFLECTION QUESTIONTransport Use Muscle PowerHow do your transportation choices affect your engagement in your community? Does your experience or enjoyment differ while walking, riding transit, biking or driving?
Chrysten Lambert 1/02/2020 10:59 AMBest evening ever walking for groceries and leaving my phone at home to enjoy the town. :) -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransport Research and Consider Switching to a Hybrid or Electric VehicleReducing (or eliminating) exhaust emissions and improving public health are two benefits of green vehicles. What other motivators inspire you to consider switching to a more fuel-efficient vehicle?
Chrysten Lambert 1/02/2020 10:58 AMThe more people that convert, the more affordable and accessible these vehicles will become.
I am still assessing balance of driving an older gas vehicle, that's fairly efficient with the environmental impact of buying a newly made car. Anyone have good tips/resources for assessing the impact of manufacturing? -
REFLECTION QUESTIONLand Use Forest-Friendly Foods 2How difficult or easy was it to change your diet?
Chrysten Lambert 1/02/2020 10:56 AMSuper interesting to research coconut production and products... So appreciative of all the thoughtfully sourced products we have readily available in Ashland. In this process I keep thinking about how much of the world would struggle to do these challenges and what policy changes we really need to be able to scale up these kinds of impacts to level needed.
