I have not heard of it, I think the biggest advantages are the financial factor, and the positive effect is has on the environment and the animals
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

Much of Indonesia's peatlands have been drained so they could be replaced with palm oil or pulp and paper plantations. How can you make choices that help to protect peatlands, even if you live far away from one?

    Emily Leahy 12/01/2020 1:28 PM
Not buy products that contribute to the destruction of peat bogs.

    Emily Leahy 11/25/2020 9:27 AM
Currently, I think my diet is definitely playing a part. I could buy/use less processed products, I could only buy coffee and chocolate that is shadow grown or has the little frog on it, I could eat less dairy products etc.

  • REFLECTION QUESTION

I won’t be as conscious about buying items close to a “best if used by” date because it will still be pretty good.

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Electricity Learn More about Micro Wind
Micro turbines can be placed on large structures to take advantage of stronger, steadier breezes. The Eiffel Tower now sports vertical axis turbines that produce electricity for use on site. Where could micro turbines potentially be installed in your city?
