REFLECTION QUESTIONIndustry Recycle Everything I CanHow could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle? How does considering implementing these "R's" make you feel?
Sydney Lillard 4/25/2022 6:09 PMI can reduce not only the amount of trash I produce, but the amount of food waste I produce. I can reuse things like plastic water bottles to prevent future use of new plastic water bottles. I can refuse things that are free around campus that I don't need and would end up just throwing away. I can repair clothes that get small holes in them or utilities that are not too broken. Lastly, I can repurpose certain clothes by turning them into other clothes. For example, I can use some older damaged jeans to repair holes in my newer jeans and make a patchwork pattern on them. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Healing & Renewal Go for a Daily WalkWhat have you noticed on your daily walks? What have you enjoyed? What infrastructure changes could make your walks more enjoyable or possible?
Sydney Lillard 4/25/2022 6:06 PMI have noticed a lot of different species of plants blooming that I had rarely seen before. I am normally zoned out or on my phone during walks, but today was a beautiful day and I paid great attention to my surroundings. I love seeing all the flowers in bloom and the dogs running around on the Horseshoe. My walks could be more enjoyable with more trees to provide shade on hot days.
