    Many states and countries have advisories on eating fish. Find out what is advised for your region. Do you think your diet choices fall within these guidelines? What steps do you need to take to make sure that they do?

    For Texas, it is advised that For fish more than 35 inches, adult men and women past childbearing age should limit consumption to two, 8-ounce meals per month. Children under 12 and women of childbearing age should not consume any king mackerel from Texas coastal waters. I think my diet choices do fall within these guidelines.

    The effects that our current diet has on impacting deforestation is a major issue, currently, my diet sometimes consists of meat and that is one of the foods that is impacting deforestation.

    Some additional benefits besides sequestering carbon are that biochar can reduce Nitrous oxide and methane.

    I am hoping to talk about how climate change is only worsening more and more when we aren't really doing much to prevent climate change.

    After determining my carbon footprint, now I know to reduce my carbon footprint, switch to clean energy, eat more vegetables than meat, and use the car less to go to places.
