REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Use Public TransitHow has your access to various kinds of transportation throughout your life influenced your current attitudes about transportation and your transportation behavior?
Jose Macedo 6/08/2021 12:13 PMI can ride the bus and take 45 minutes to get to work or I can drive and only take 15 minutes. Or I could walk 2 hours and be really late. These could upsets to my choosing. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONCoastal, Ocean, and Engineered Sinks Learn about BiocharCan biochar provide additional benefits besides sequestering carbon?
Jose Macedo 6/08/2021 12:11 PMIn addition to carbon storage, the biochar-clay plaster exhibits good insulation, humidity-regulation, and electromagnetic radiation-mitigation properties—all of which enhance a building's interior climate.

REFLECTION QUESTIONCoastal, Ocean, and Engineered Sinks Restore WetlandsHow do wetlands differ from other ecosystems -- both in the services they offer and in your personal experience of them?
Jose Macedo 6/08/2021 12:01 PMWetlands do benefit other lands as they are also bodies of water in different locations and they are just expanded differently with lots of vegetations. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONBuildings Research Heat PumpsWhy is taking action on climate change important to you? Why do you care?
Jose Macedo 6/04/2021 12:18 PMThis is our home and not only me but everyone should take action on climate change. It changes the way we all should live and practice other food processes.

REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth and Education Learn about the Need for Family PlanningWhat did you learn about the need for family planning? How do the needs of different people in different places compare to each other?
Jose Macedo 6/04/2021 11:55 AMWell the needs of different people in different places compare to each other because it would cost too much time to do many things at once and you need planning to have a plan ahead of time. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONLand Sinks Forest-Friendly Foods 1How is your diet currently impacting deforestation? What can you do to decrease your negative impact and increase your positive impact?
Jose Macedo 6/03/2021 11:53 AMI would say my diet is composed out of a lot of plant based products like I see most vegans do. So i would say my diet doesn't impact deforestation a lot. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Healing & Renewal Tend A GardenHave you ever had a significant experience in nature that altered your perspective or focus? If so, please describe it.
Jose Macedo 6/03/2021 11:50 AMI went camping one time and I got to see different aspects of nature. I saw a lot of disturbing sights that I hoped were not true. I saw an area where it was pure tree stomps and how the rest of the forest was untouched. -
Jose Macedo 4/16/2021 12:08 PMOf course like all my classmates. We had to participate in this assignment or challenge. I didn't know we had this challenge as a class activity but as well I don't mind having to learn. I think out of all of this I wouldn't mind getting some more experience and learning more things about our environment and this could be a great exercise to get out of the house and move as well explore the city of Houston.
