I learned that they are able to manage land without causing to many emissions being released. They also use the land in nice traditional ways. I can apply this to my own life to learn how we could manage land better.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Women and Girls Research Barriers to Participation and Representation
What are some of the barriers that exist to women's equal participation and/or representation in your community?

    Koala Charlotte's avatar
    Koala Charlotte 2/24/2020 5:25 PM
In my community, women have mostly equal participation! But in some other places, women and girls aren't treated as fairly because of their strength, gender, and even just their past and how women used to be treated.

    Koala Charlotte 2/24/2020 5:20 PM
I learned that it isn't just helpful for women and girls, but also carbon footprints! Some people in certain places need more help than others, such and physical and mental help, or even abuse. While other people might be more fortunate.

    Koala Charlotte 2/24/2020 5:09 PM
I found out that transportation produces a lot of emissions, and is very bad for the environment. But, there are still many things we can do to decrease the number of gasses released. Some ways that we can help are by using more batteries and electric run things. Also improving our technology and making a difference in the world!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Transport Research and Advocate for High-Speed Rail
What are the factors that influence your choice of transportation? These can include things like money, time, and convenience, as well as perceptions of danger or safety. What would need to change for you to regularly choose more climate-friendly options?

    Koala Charlotte's avatar
    Koala Charlotte 2/24/2020 4:59 PM
Letting out too much pollution in the air, unneeded and can be easily walked or biked to, not worth the time and may be inconvenient. I would need more climate-friendly choices in general, very easy and convenient, and not costing too much money.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Materials Research Cement Alternatives

    Koala Charlotte 2/23/2020 9:18 AM
It has an effect on this because though I try not to eat meat, I still eat eggs, dairy, and of course the best food of all, chocolate. I can try to eat less chocolate which can help and be healthier for me!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
