    Producing food that goes uneaten squanders many resources—seeds, water, energy, land, fertilizer, hours of labor, financial capital. Which of these kinds of waste most motivates you to change your behavior regarding food waste? Why?

    Personally, I think that all of these resources are very motivating to change my behavior regarding food waste. After learning more about soil health, I realized the value in starting my own compost; especially when you consider that 50% of most households' trash is actually compostable.
