Gabrielle Mccollough 1/31/2020 11:44 AMif you're doing the vegan challenge and eating out is a problem
Ruby Tuesday has a super nice interactive allergen menu with vegan options and a great salad bar, you could also request an, " awesome burger," which isn't listed in the menu but is available for a limited time. (a vegan burger)
the apple pies from McDonald are vegan
and the french fries from burger king
Though you would have to keep in mind they use a shared frier to the meat, dairy, and egg products. -
Gabrielle Mccollough 1/30/2020 5:59 PMIn case no one new and is also doing a vegan challenge, Stokely will make you a vegan pizza. They have vegan cheese and dough. -

REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodWhy do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our bodies, our planet, and other people?
-
REFLECTION QUESTIONMaterialsWhat do you want to prioritize over material 'stuff' in your own life?
-
REFLECTION QUESTIONMaterialsWhat are some more "R's" you could add to your daily practice to reduce your waste?
Gabrielle Mccollough 1/28/2020 8:31 AMI try regularly to focus on the R's, but still, struggle to refuse things when I am purchasing an item second hand. I know it is better to purchase things second hand, and because of that when I see things second hand I do not think I may not need the item.
I would also like to try to teach others how to repair things, I know trades such as sewing are dying and lots of people throw out old clothes or toys when they need repair. That would be a lot of waste if you have younger kids who are rough on toys and could save you money if you repair them instead of buying new ones.
