Sharon Weld is starting to make phone calls to all of you who signed up. We are creating Eco-buddy support mini-teams. If you do or don't want to participate, both ore OK. -
Jeff Melcher 5/01/2021 7:52 PMEfficiency of systems and food sharing can end hunger. This is a policy issue. Economic incentives to share will pay dividends in CO2 reduction. Awesome!!!-
Heather Macleod 5/07/2021 2:23 PMYES - I did some further research because I wondered WHY food would be left rotting in the fields in some countries. What I found out is that it's because of our economic system - if the prices that year are too low for people to make money selling the food, it rots in the fields. I love the idea of economic incentives to share - even when the market doesn't provide an incentive.

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land Use Give a MicroloanGlobally, women typically invest a higher proportion of their earnings in their families and communities than men. Why do you think that is?
Jeff Melcher 3/31/2021 4:53 PMResearch shows women think more about the future and how their expenditures help the health and future of their children. Men are more likely to spend it on beer. Hey, I am just sharing whit I remember from a study. You think this is true too?
