Last day. Overall...its been a great experience and super cool to feel like we have accomplished something...anything...to help the cause.

South Dakota lawmakers are pushing to keep plastic bags and straws. Lame.

Ugh! I just cannot fathom that plastic bags have lobbyists. Cray!

Our behated Prez told Greta she should concentrate her efforts on other countries because "we are great". That's the kind of attitude that just will not serve the Earth. We all need to act, not just the other guy...I believe we are all in this together.

Greta is back in action in Davos. Does that girl ever go to school...or does she just school us on our lack of action. I'll think I'll ask her if she wants to be on our team for the last 10 days? Bring it home, Carbon Killers!!

    Food
While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come from eating/serving smaller portions?

My problem is...I eat everything on my plate...and was raised to do so. There is no "waste" involved...but I could easily eat half of what I do and still be fine...better for it even. If I order pizza...always large, cheeseburger, double, dessert, absolutely! SO, no more of that...and that is a challenge!

I was peddling up the hill today, minding my own business, headed to White Rabbit for some gravity therapy when no less than 5 electric sleds passed me...like I was going in reverse...lol. I was envious of the ease at which they were kinda sorta peddling up the hill. It made me think, however, about electric power overall and how it had changed transportation, specifically. On one side, you are benefiting from less emissions from cars, but the other side, bikes, scooters, skateboards, hover-boards...etc are all becoming electric powered or aided. What gives! When I was a kid, when most of us were kids, we had to peddle it, or push it to get where we wanted...these new wippersnappers...i tell ya! Anyway, that is my thought for the day.
