I have always loved clothes and make up and style, and a local friend Natalie owns Swap Don't Shop in town. She's gorgeous and such a sharp dresser, and she hasn't purchased anything new in years. Great role model! I have always loved a second hand score, and now want to get more creative / be more careful with what I buy in the future.
My son also has an amazing sense of style, so how can he shine through fashion without contributing to the serious issues of Fast Fashion?

Kimberly Wasserman 1/30/2020 9:00 PMI have hosted an annual naked lady clothing swap for the past 20 years or so. It truly is the source of most of my clothes. It has helped strengthen my communities (Portland and Madison) because so many friends have brought their friends and gotten to know each other there. It's always fun to see someone else rocking your clothes! I'm sure some awesome woman already does that here, but I plan to start again as well this year. Save your stuff!!
