Spent some time learning about food and personal care products that lead to elimination of rain forests.  I'll be looking for the green frog (Rainforest Alliance cert) in the future.  Interesting - 1 consumer products company consumes 20% of all palm oil farmed annually.

Just found out this last year that many of  those soft, squishy toilet papers and tissues we use are sourced from virgin temperate rainforests.  Now, I only use TP and tissues made from recycled papers.  One less thing to feel guilty about.  And since becoming a vegetarian many, many years ago, I've gotten really good at reading labels.  I now avoid anything containing palm oil.  Good luck!
