I'll be looking for the green frog (Rainforest Alliance cert) in the future. Interesting - 1 consumer products company consumes 20% of all palm oil farmed annually.-
Rachel Johnson 4/10/2022 9:51 AMJust found out this last year that many of those soft, squishy toilet papers and tissues we use are sourced from virgin temperate rainforests. Now, I only use TP and tissues made from recycled papers. One less thing to feel guilty about. And since becoming a vegetarian many, many years ago, I've gotten really good at reading labels. I now avoid anything containing palm oil. Good luck!
