I went out of my way to purchase lunch from a vegetarian food truck on Earthday,...voting with my dollars!  I also purchased silicon storage bags to cut down on plastic bag waste and they are working out well! We showcased ouir electric car at an Earth Day event on Saturday.

My goal was a bit vague. I am still learning about this new system where all plastic gets re cycled. It seems too good to be true!

I am going to look for the rainforest alliance frog logo on coffee and tea products from now on.  I don’t buy much chocolate but when I do, same deal.

Sustainably sourced Coffee and cocoa are easy to keep track of.  But palm oil…wow!  There is a great article on here about which companies are on the right track and which are not.  They recommend contacting the bad companies directly which is a lot easier than trying to assess every product in the store.
