    Matt Papin 12/04/2020 12:42 PM
Family planning is an essential and basic human right. Some people have much less control over their reproductive health and less access to things such as contraceptives.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Land Sinks Learn about Temperate Forests
As you learn more about the scope and seriousness of the environmental challenges we face, what impact does that have on your thinking and actions? What are the parts that feel overwhelming? What parts help you feel hopeful?

    Matt Papin's avatar
    Matt Papin 12/02/2020 12:44 PM
The more that I learn about the environmental challenges we face, the more I begin to think about my daily actions and what I can do to reduce the negative impact I have. The ultimate lack of control that I have surrounding what other people do. The control I have of my own actions and what I share.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Land Sinks Research Peatlands
Much of Indonesia's peatlands have been drained so they could be replaced with palm oil or pulp and paper plantations. How can you make choices that help to protect peatlands, even if you live far away from one?

    Matt Papin's avatar
    Matt Papin 12/01/2020 10:16 AM
I can help protect peatlands by being more mindful of what i buy and where my products come from .
