This challenge went very well and made me want to do more outside of my own mind to engage the community and level up my sustainable food practices.

This challenge was very successful! Regenerative Agriculture has always interested me so it was fun to learn more about it through the Regenerative Agriculture Podcast and the Netflix film Kiss the Ground. I want to watch the biggest little farm next to understand more about agricultural methods. This challenge got me motivated to learn more about farming overall and the environmental health and human health aspects associated with the current farming system and regenerative agriculture as a solution. I hope to incorporate regenerative agriculture into my research after I graduate and thank this challenge for helping me to maintain my interest in the subject and for motivating me to look for more resources!

Food, Agriculture, and Land Use Learn More about Regenerative Agriculture
Clean air, clean water and healthy food are just three reasons to care about regenerative agriculture. What are some other reasons? How could/does regenerative agriculture positively impact you and your community?

Regenerative agriculture helps sustain soil. Soil plays a primary role in creating nutrient-rich food and maintaining land in tip top shape by providing it with proper nutrient cycling, microbial diversity to withstand stress and disturbance, and creating a foundational part of the ecosystem from which life emerges and interacts. Regenerative agriculture is smaller scale and can be used to empower communities by offering local food that follows the flow of the ecosystem present. The Regenerative Agriculture Podcast by John Kempf is the primary resource I used to get to know more about this type of farming and it was so fun/inspiring to learn about.

Food, Agriculture, and Land Use Eat Mindfully
Mindful eating is healthier for us than eating with distractions. How does your eating experience differ when practicing mindfulness?

When practicing mindfulness, my eating experience becomes more focused on how my body feels with the food, the tastes of the food, how full I am and I am more able to process what is on my mind rather than allowing distractions to numb/take me away from the present moment!

Eco drawdown challenge went well! It was hard to remember towards the end, so some meals I found myself forgetting at first, but I tried to maintain eating at least one mindful meal a day. I notable felt better eating meals that I at mindfully than those that I was staring at my phone/working on my computer throughout!

This is going well for the most part! Lunch is definitely the hardest because I often work on stuff while I eat lunch-it has been nice to move away from that habit and enjoy my food a bit more.
