I checked out Ellis Lake Wetlands recently. I had no idea it existed but it's in the county I live in! Beautiful area and I saw killdeer for the first time!

I watched The Anaerobic Digester at MSU video and found it really interesting what they're doing to implement a more sustainable energy. The video was posted in 2013 so hopefully many other colleges have followed their lead!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Food, Agriculture, and Land Use Smaller Portions
While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come from eating/serving smaller portions?

Off to a good start on this objective! In addition to creating less food waste, being more mindful of what I make for each meal is helping me to be healthier and also save money!
