Instead of traveling by plane, I will find an alternative way to accomplish the goals of an upcoming trip (i.e. telepresence, vacation locally).
Action Track: Healing & Renewal
Go for a Daily Walk
Walkable Cities
I will take a walk for 25 minutes each day and take note of the infrastructure that makes walking more or less enjoyable, accessible, and possible.
Action Track: Healing & Renewal
Eat Mindfully
I will eat all of my meals without distractions, e.g., phone, computer, TV, or newspaper.

More Fruits And Veggies
I will eat a heart healthy diet by adding 1 cups of fruits and vegetables each day to achieve at least 4 cups per day.

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land Use Reduce Animal ProductsWhy do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our bodies, our planet, and other people?
Jim Soule 3/23/2021 8:48 AMI do think that meat has an incorrect value placed on it. I believe that a good balance is good for our health of meat and fruit and vegetables. -

REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Stay on the GroundWhat was your process like for restructuring your trip? How can you avoid more air travel in the future?
Jim Soule 3/22/2021 6:54 AMIt wasn't terribly hard. Finding a good driving route and being sure to be efficient with my driving as well. I will be driving this summer to my vacation instead of flying as it is a preferred method of travel. -
Jim Soule 3/19/2021 10:47 AMThe chilly wind could even ruin this site. -
Jim Soule 3/18/2021 7:51 AMIt was a windy walk this morning and made me think about wind as a renewable energy source. -
Jim Soule 3/17/2021 10:38 AMI meant to share this from my walk the other morning. Hello sunshine. So relaxing. -

Jim Soule 3/12/2021 7:48 AMWalking with the dog this morning, we watched a couple birds building a nest. Seems a bit earlier for that but was fun to watch nonetheless. -
Jim Soule 3/11/2021 12:27 PMTalked a bunch over the last two days with the client about NCZ initiatives. Fun to put names to processes. Here we come.
