REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land Use Smaller PortionsWhile dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come from eating/serving smaller portions?
Adam Spaulding 3/17/2021 1:57 PMSmaller portions also help with weight loss! The stomach has a delayed fullness signal of around twenty minutes. I typically eat a small portion and wait twenty minutes. If after twenty minutes I am still hungry, then repeat the process. -

Adam Spaulding 3/16/2021 7:58 AMAcknowledging the sell by date will give me an idea of how long to store the food after buying it. Best by date will influence when I need to eat it. All of which contribute to me not wasting the food I buy. -
