All Transportation Solutions
I will spend at least 10 minutes researching other Drawdown Transportation Solutions.
Food, Agriculture, and Land Use

Food, Agriculture, and Land Use

Jasmin Texidor 11/09/2022 10:26 PMAfter reading about alternative transportation solutions, I learned just how effective switching from road to rail would be. -
Jasmin Texidor 11/09/2022 10:11 PMThe eco challenge is going well for me, and now that I’ve started to pay attention to my portioning I’m realizing just how much I used to serve myself before when there was really no need. I would always have leftovers or scraps I wouldn’t eat, but now I’m getting better at serving myself exactly as much as I’ll eat and being satisfied with that. And it wastes a lot less scraps, or leaves me leftovers for the next day. -
Jasmin Texidor 11/09/2022 10:04 PMDidn’t have much time to eat today, but I did finally settle down to have a mindful dinner. After not having it all day I was ready to settle in for it as a reward. -
Jasmin Texidor 11/08/2022 10:40 PMI have spent a lot of time in forests around campus and Monterey in general, partly for location scouting for something I’m filming, partially because the live oak trees here are enchanting. I learned the only two live oak forests are here in Monterey and Chilé, we live somewhere with very unique and magical trees. -
Jasmin Texidor 11/08/2022 10:33 PMBefore this video, I didn’t know much about methane digesters, but now they seem like a must have and much needed counter to things like food and animal waste. Methane is a ghg, and seeing that these digesters can help to convert methane into fertilizer and energy proved to me how efficient they are. I even saw some videos of how to build your own methane digester tank. -
Jasmin Texidor 11/08/2022 10:00 PMI’ve been using smaller bowls and plates for smaller meals throughout the day and I find that a lot of the time one smaller portion is enough when a larger plate just makes me think I want more. -
Jasmin Texidor 11/08/2022 9:58 PMEating mindfully has been a challenge, mostly because my brain gets very distracted by anything and I worry if I’m not doing something I’m wasting time, but it’s been getting easier to not use my phone in other areas of life as well.
