REFLECTION QUESTIONElectricity Watch a Video about Methane DigestersWhat does your vision of a sustainable community look like? What would need to be changed in order for such vision to become reality?
Sunny Veniero 5/03/2021 2:29 PMLess reliance on fossil fuels and plastics, more plant-plased diet alternatives, better recycling programs, and safer bike lanes! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONBuildings Learn about 'Green Gentrification'Cities and towns need to plan for climate change. How can your city or town make its climate action plans equitable and socially just?
Sunny Veniero 5/03/2021 2:23 PM'Green Gentrification' is very apparent in nyc these days. We need less luxury development and more housing policies that make sense. It is so unfair that poor and working class people end up getting pushed out of their neighborhoods once they are made 'nice.' -
REFLECTION QUESTIONLand Sinks Forest-Friendly Foods 1How is your diet currently impacting deforestation? What can you do to decrease your negative impact and increase your positive impact?
Sunny Veniero 4/15/2021 11:11 AMI finally learned what that Rainforest Alliance frog label means that I've seen on coffee and cocoa packaging. Will only buy these products from now on! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONElectricity Learn More about Wave and Tidal EnergyWhat did you learn about wave and tidal energy? How do they compare to other energy sources?
Sunny Veniero 4/15/2021 11:07 AMSeems like a great alternative, however the high cost leads me to not expect to see much progess made here in comparison to other energy sources.. -
Sunny Veniero 4/14/2021 10:28 AMI had no idea what methane digesters were until watching that video. It turns out I often run past the one in Brooklyn every week. I now know what it is!
