Many states and countries have advisories on eating fish. Find out what is advised for your region. Do you think your diet choices fall within these guidelines? What steps do you need to take to make sure that they do?

It is advised for the Hudson Valley in the state of New York by www.health.ny.gov to eat up to four, half-pound meals of fish per month. My diet choices fall within these guidelines, as I do not eat much fish. I eat fish maybe one time per month.

Cost is a big motivator for switching to a more fuel-efficient vehicle. There are other financial reasons to switch to an electric vehicle. The government offers tax credits for purchasing an electric vehicle to incentivize people to buy them.

Planting trees has obvious benefits. It is good for the environment, and trees release oxygen and reduce storm water runoff. Planting trees can help strengthen an eco system. Planting trees can also have a positive impact on your mental health. Seeing the final product of your hard work is a great feeling, and it feels good to help the environment. It requires physical labor, which is good for your physical health. Planting trees is also good for your spiritual health as it can make you feel closer to nature.

In North America, up to 65% of food waste happens at the consumer level. Chef Steven Satterfield advocates for utilizing every part of a vegetable. How can you incorporate using an entire vegetable, including the skins, tops, and stalks during your next meal prep?

This is interesting that up to 65% of food waste happens at the consumer level. This makes sense because a lot of people cook or order food that they just end up throwing away. This is largely due to our society, as many restaurants push larger portion sizes. I have never used an entire vegetable in my cooking. A cook way to start would be to just leave the skin on whatever I am cooking. The tops and stalks I could try and put in some chicken broth to make a soup. This would be a good way to reduce food waste, while also making another dish, which could in turn lead to needing less food.
