  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Composting
Producing food that goes uneaten squanders many resources—seeds, water, energy, land, fertilizer, hours of labor, financial capital. Which of these kinds of waste most motivates you to change your behavior regarding food waste? Why?

    Panda Morgan's avatar
    Panda Morgan 2/20/2020 10:46 AM
Fertilizer motivates me to change my behavior towards food waste because, fertilizer is made of food waste.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transport Improve a Bus Stop
How can you advocate for transportation systems which minimize environmental impact while also meeting human needs?

    Panda Morgan's avatar
    Panda Morgan 2/20/2020 10:43 AM
I can make posters and advertise public transportation in popular areas such as subways, restaurants, gas stations, or grocery stores.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transport Stay on the Ground
What was your process like for restructuring your trip? How can you avoid more air travel in the future?

    Panda Morgan's avatar
    Panda Morgan 2/20/2020 10:21 AM
I can travel by car more often, and I can use my skateboard more often. I broke my skateboard so I can't use it
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Reduce Animal Products
Why do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our bodies, our planet, and other people?

    Panda Morgan's avatar
    Panda Morgan 2/20/2020 4:48 AM
People in ricer countries can afford to buy more meat products than less-developed countries.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Materials Reduce Single-Use Disposables
What single-use items (e.g. straws, coffee cups, vegetable bags, plastic bags) do you regularly use? What could be substituted instead?

    Panda Morgan's avatar
    Panda Morgan 2/20/2020 4:47 AM
I use plastic bags a lot because I have to bring my PE clothes and cleats to school everyday
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Materials Recycle Everything I Can
How could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle? How does considering implementing these "R's" make you feel?

    Panda Morgan's avatar
    Panda Morgan 2/20/2020 4:46 AM
I can start using the five R's every day instead of only using them once.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transport Use Public Transit
How has your access to various kinds of transportation throughout your life influenced your current attitudes about transportation and your transportation behavior?

    Panda Morgan's avatar
    Panda Morgan 2/19/2020 9:59 AM
Using different kinds of transportation has made me realize that using a bike or skateboard is better than just riding a car every where. For example,  On weekends, I hang out with friends from my old school a lot and we always go to a park near my house, so I either walk or skateboard there.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Land Use Plant Trees
How is planting trees good for your mental, physical, and spiritual health?

    Panda Morgan's avatar
    Panda Morgan 2/18/2020 5:59 PM
According to cityoftrees.org.uk, planting trees can help with stress or anxiety. Also, according to Mrs. Robinson, staring at a tree for 40 seconds before a test will make you do better.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Smart Seafood Choices
Many states and countries have advisories on eating fish. Find out what is advised for your region. Do you think your diet choices fall within these guidelines? What steps do you need to take to make sure that they do?

    Panda Morgan's avatar
    Panda Morgan 2/18/2020 5:52 PM
I think that my diet choices do fall into these guidelines because I go fishing with my cousin almost every weekend, and we catch a lot of Pacific Cod, and King Crabs, and we eat it most of the time.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Action Track: Justice for the Whole Community Advocate for Forest Protection
Higher standards of living are very often dependent on moving our environmental costs elsewhere. What are some specific ways in which the environmental impacts of your own lifestyle might be shifted elsewhere?

    Panda Morgan's avatar
    Panda Morgan 2/18/2020 5:42 PM
The money that I use for things that I want could be used for things that could help the environment such as buying a public transportation ticket or buying metal products instead of paper.
