    I think a sustainable community needs to try really hard to make changes in there life to create a clean community.

    Much of Indonesia's peatlands have been drained so they could be replaced with palm oil or pulp and paper plantations. How can you make choices that help to protect peatlands, even if you live far away from one?

    I can replace some of my food product with palm oil in them.

    If I can help the planet by purchasing an electric car I would.  I know gasoline hurts the planet a lot and by getting an electric car can help the planet tremendously.

    What concerns me the most is knowing that simply things are killing the planet.  We can do something about it however some people don’t care which is frustrating.

    I hate to see our planet slowing dying.  We only have one planet and we should do everything we can to protect it.

    I love getting exercise and playing with my dogs, however I also enjoy taking car rides and listening to music.

    While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come from eating/serving smaller portions?

    We can reduce the use of water when washing our dishes after eating.

    Some parts feel overwhelming because it is hard to know you may be effecting the environment.  This also makes me feel hopeful because I know I can help if I make some changes to my day.
