In terms of my daily walks, I generally have no complaints. Not only have I noticed that my walks have made my cardio and heart health much better as a form of extra exercise, but I have also used them as a means of relaxation and a chance to learn. On each of my walks, rather it be to my classes, the supermarket, etc., I have made it a habit to listen to a podcast throughout, which I generally finish by the end of the day. I generally will either listen to a podcast relating to sports, health, science, or overall self-growth. This has not only helped me grow physically but has put me in a great state of mind in order to achieve my goals. This implementation of walking rather than driving has also allowed for me to save a lot of money in transportation. So far this semester, I have only had to fill up my car’s gas tank once in order to drive back home to Queens, and when I filled up my tank was still half full. This not only has a significant influence environmentally, but it has also helped me a lot financially. Overall, I have no complaints in terms of my daily walks, and I will definitely continue to do this for as long as possible.
