Hi all! I love Drawdown Ecosystems because I am learning so much including new actions to take. I do wish I were able to access this as an app because I find that I sometimes forget to find the email that provides a link to log in. I think an app would provide easy access and I would see it regularly which would lead to better record keeping....

CONGRATULATIONS TEAM!!!!!  We did it!  6000 points.

We are within 200 points of 6000.  Take an action to help push us over the top.  Reflect or comment on an action taken to contribute too.  Cheers!

Our new windows were installed this week so I am eager to see if they translate into a reduction in our energy use and bill.

Other such everyday materials with high carbon footprints might include any that require high inputs of petroleum at any point along the production process. For example, plastics, furniture, building materials come to mind as...

I distributed woodchips to garden beds in our townhouse community on Monday as part of an ongoing effort to help restore the soil and slow down erosion.

While always room for improvement, I have adopted several of the individual drawdown solutions as part of my lifestyle. Collectively, our congregation, Eno River UU Fellowship in Durham, NC, is in year 4 of a formal UUA greening initiative, Green Sanctuary (GS). Our GS accreditation plan includes 12 projects in four areas of congregational...

This week was great for biking rather than driving places.  My first bikeride into work for the season mid week, and a couple nice treks to our community garden.  Gotta love these days with more daylight, as makes biking to work a great option!
