Electricity Energy Use: CAR VS BIKE
What do you propose we do as a more energy efficient form of transportation? Ride a bike? Bike-car combo? Change the design of a car? Ride a sphero?

I think we should have more buses because one bus pollutes less than a lot of cars, and the whole community can use it.

A more energy efficient form of transportation would be biking because the only energy we would be spending would be the energy we gain from the food we eat. Plus, as a side note, this would be a good thing us because it's a form of exercise.

Biking is a more energy-efficient form of transportation than a car. This is because the only energy needed and wasted when biking in to propel yourself and your biking using energy you create. A car on the other hand needs more energy to propel a car with a larger weight and mass and it also has a lot of byproducts and wasted energy. A car also uses a process that requires a larger amount of energy to propel it, including its motor and gas. Bikes are a less popular form of transportation even though they are more energy-efficient than cars. Biking is more difficult for the user and takes much longer than driving. A redesigned car may be more energy-efficient if it has less weight or mass. Although cars need a large weight and mass to protect the ones inside at such a high speed and to also hold the heavy machinery needed to propel them. Lighter and smaller weight and masses within cars allow a more energy-efficient form of transportation. This is also why busses are more energy-efficient than cars because more people can get to their locations at the same speed but instead using one bus instead of many cars for individuals.

I guess riding a bike would be the more efficient combo, but I also think that maybe we could instead use electrical cars using renewable energy sources to power it.

We should ride bikes a lot more to conserve energy, but a car design change could work so it doesn't consume a lot of energy, but a sphero would be fun if it was big enough.

Industry Human Activity as Renewable Energy
What is one way we can harness human activity as a power source? If you had unlimited skills and resources---what type of product would you invent that uses human power as an energy source?

I would harness solar, wind, and water.

    Land Sinks Research Peatlands
Much of Indonesia's peatlands have been drained so they could be replaced with palm oil or pulp and paper plantations. How can you make choices that help to protect peatlands, even if you live far away from one?
